I heard the v2 stays in the lineup but a new parawing specific board is added

It makes sense.Do you know about the design concept ? maybe wider and harder rails ?

I did exactly that on my Naish Hover Downwind 110L (also 7'8, but 20" wide) to make parawinging easier and it made a huge difference to how easy it was to balance and waterstart! It also makes board control a bit easier, but not so sure it helps pumping (though pumping while starting is a lot easier). I'm happy with the decision, it helped my learning process, though now I mostly ride my midlength board as the riding experience is much better.

Cool how did you make it ? ....maybe with one of those ?

Any advise not to screw up with the epoxy ?

thanks !

Hi all,

I'm considering adding footstraps to my DW board (94 kg without wetsuit, Naish DW 7'8" x 18 1/2" - 110L) and would really appreciate your thoughts.

My main objective is accurate, repeatable foot positioning when winging or parawinging - especially to improve pumping efficiency and precise board control during takeoff and touchdowns.

Since I'm not into paddle /SUP DW, I don't see a compelling reason to keep the deck completely clean if straps could add consistency and leverage.

I'm thinking about a low-profile insert setup with just 3 inserts for a V-strap, trying to keep it as streamlined and lightweight as possible.

Keen to hear real-world experience.

For context:
94 kg, 1.86 m. Foiling for 3.5 years
One-board quiver: custom mid-length 6'4" x 19" - 94L

A proper product review should be:

1. A balanced mix of video/images and written analysis. Most YouTube reviews lack clear on-screen summaries, such as concise overlays highlighting key pros and cons.

2- An objective comparison with competitors. Too much of today's "politically correct" media avoids direct, unbiased benchmarking against alternative products.

3- A transparent discussion about pricing. Value for money is a crucial part of any serious review and shouldn't be overlooked.

4- Short and to the point.

Jesse Yoder proposed this adjustable trim concept to modify PW camber - deeper profile for low wind, flatter for high wind:

I'm not convinced this is the optimal way to implement the idea, but I do think adjustable camber is a major area for innovation in parawings. Done right, it could significantly increase the usable wind range.

So-has anyone here actually done DIY line mods on the Pocket Rocket and is willing to share how they approached it?
Are there any photos, diagrams, or schematics floating around that you could point to?

I agree it makes sense not to fragment Pocket Rocket discussions into too many threads. That said, it would also be good to avoid creating another mega-thread like the ever-expanding "How good is the new North Sonar?" one-which has basically turned into a North-only forum and makes it hard to find anything specific unless you're deep into it.

Thanks in advance-any practical input would be much appreciated.

Hi all,
I'd like to open a thread to collect ideas, experiences, and hands-on mods for the amazing OZONE Pocket Rocket[/b], especially inspired by some of the Power Pack[/b] improvements-but also anything new you've tested or are thinking about.

Some starter ideas to kick things off:

-Shorter handle-bar ?
-Removing the attachment of the B-lines to the handle-bar, similar to the Power Pack approach - pros/cons?
-Adding an easy attach/detach leash point - cleaner, faster, and safer solutions?
-Modding A-lines for easier stashing. Less knots, less lines, grouped A lines ?
-Bridle simplification or rerouting ideas?
-Anything else you've tried or would like to test?

If you've already done a mod, it would be great if you could share: What you changed Why you did it What worked / what didn't Photos or sketches if possible Even half-baked ideas are welcome-often that's where the good stuff starts.

Looking forward to learning from the collective brain trust ??
