My issue is , that my main wing is pretty much destroyed after about nine months ( despite optimal care) I'm left with a bagged out wing which is only fit for the bin. I've used wings from Duotone (my current 5m - D Lab unit) , slingshot and F-one and the outcome is the same.
My question is, which is the most durable wing?

Well said - $4k is just too much for Alluula. ENSIS got an XPLY material which does not stretch together with Hookipa for the struts. So I use that for my go to wing.

WOW 4K is crazy hey. When did a little Wind wing become the price of a kite with Bar and lines and everything else.

You can buy 4 of these and they are good wings. Are people really willing to spend $4K on a wind wing?

It is a hard one thou when you can go out in a shorey and rip any wing by simply putting your foil tip through it.

Just seen it happen at my local yesterday where a learner placed the board and foil down in the wrong spot and the wind flipped it and put the foil wing straight thru 2 brand new wind wings on the beach.

The subject line didn't mention anything about cost, it just asked which wing lasts the longest.
One of my Allula wings is on season #3 and has over 100 days of hard use. The Airframe is probably 75-80% as stiff as stock. Hopefully they will be able to lower the cost a bit for us mortals, but in the meantime I'm going to save up for one of full Alulla construction...maybe.

You have 100 days out of an Aluula frame wing? In my experience (Ive gone through several A-Series Glides and ride them as my current quiver) the Aluula frame wings with standard ripstop canopies ride excellent, but they actually bag out as fast or faster than a normal wing. The super stiff frame isolates all load onto the canopy, vs a standard construction wing where the frame flexes to absorb some of the power. Yes the airframe remains rigid, but even standard construction airframes hold decent rigidity. The canopy is the issue.

The new ones have evolved to pair the stiff frame with a canopy that can better withstand the loads.

I suggest either buying one super-premium 5m wing (full aluula or similar) vs a quiver of lesser wings, or buying two current-generation, standard construction wings with tight spacing (0.5-1m spacing) so you spread your usage around two wings and get half of the wear.

Honestly... Look at the first dlab generation with Mod3. Doesn't look better after half a year of use. U can buy the first used once now and see the pics at the internet. They also got the same wrinkles like the 1st generation or the non Aluula non mod3 wings. Seems a bit like a scam.

I like my North Modes, they've lasted longer than the regular Nova's I've had. The upcharge is not as crazy as some of the other bands.

U got normal mode or pro with the "crazy" canopy?
