I ride Armstrong foils, mostly HA V2. I would now like to get an ML board. The KT super K seems to me to be almost better as a light wind and freeride board than the Armstrong ML. Does anyone have experience with the combination?
yeah two friends have it. Works perfect. Foil box perfectly placed also for HA v2 foil. Tested with both 1180 and 880 HAs.
The Armstrong ML is a bit more technical due to the pretty dramatic beveling of the rails compared to the more gentle shape of the Super K. That translates in marginally better rail-to-rail performance at the cost of instability when dislocating off-foil.
You cant go wrong with either. The best mid lengths in the market.
