Yeah. I don't see the point parawinging in marginal/light wind.
Yes for true light wind, sub 10 knots, I definitely agree parawing isn't the best option. For moderate days it can present a big advantage over normal wings. Ive had some really great sessions and diwnwinders in winds around 15 to 17 knots. In these conditions I would usually be on a 5m wing which really gets in the way especially when downwinding in lighter winds. With the parawing I can tuck it away and have full freedom to focus on the bumps same as sup foil.
So yes originally I had thought parawing would be pointless in under 18 knots but now I'm looking more towards a 12 knot threshold.
ps. They say 2025 is the year of the parawing but its also the year of parawingers hijacking forum threads
