I have an ozone 6 m wasp with a wrist leash that is about twice as long as it needs to be it's always in the way it creates problems with transitions and constantly gets Tangled. Not quite sure what to do? Do I cut it down do I get a coil leash or is there another way to get rid of this issue.

Get a duotone leash.

The WASP leashes are like sandpaper against your skin. I replace them all with a curly whirly leash from duotone.

I have the Ozone wasp 6m as well. In some transitions, i also experience getting slightly tangled when using the 6m (very rare with the smaller sizes). I just tried on the weekend, the Ozone waist leash while using the 6m Wasp and found that i didnt get the same tangles issue and felt it was it worked great. Im pretty used to having the leash attached to the wrist and this feels comfortable even when getting back on the SUP board. For some reason climbing on the board with the leash pulling from the waist felt a little weird at first but by the end of an 1hr session pretty normal.

I actually have no issues with the Ozone wasp wrist leash when it comes to comfort. I have been out on a 3hour session before with no issues and have had many hours of time on the water. Dont think my skin is anything special, but then again maybe i have underestimated the strength of my skin. lol. I have my wrist leash loose enough it can swivel on my wrist. I also make sure the leash is free of sand before tightening. Though now that i have tried the Ozone waist leash and was quite impressed, will be giving this a bit more usage and see if having my wrists free from the leash, is something that works better for me.

I have been trying various leashes for WingFoiling - this one for the wing has been the best so far:

Scrunchy goodness, stretches to 11 feet (good for 6 and 7m big wings,) stays out of the way, inexpensive, and soft. Love it!

Construction is fair, def not as tough as a big wave surf leash, but nice and light and does the job

2" webbing and Fastex buckle - easy and inexpensive waist leash - coil stays out of the feet

Duotone leash is cheap and cheesy.I had to stich up the cuff after 2 sessions. The f one leash is perfect length and is in the way minimally.

The Ozone waist leash setup can be found on the Ozone website. Scroll to the bottom of the page and they have photos.

This guy in the photo uses a wing leash attached to front of his board.I took the photo from a video that was on one of windwinging sites.
The board nose leash looks unobstructive in comparison to say a wrist leash.

Saw this before. Not a bad idea - may keep the wing and foil separated in a wipeout on a wave. Less chance of sliced and diced wing possibly??
