Does anyone has experience with kids using wings. My son (1.60m) tried my Strike 4.2 and span width was pretty big for him. Is there any overview available of wings and their span width?

Thinking of adding a 3.5 or 2.8/3.0 to my quiver.

I need lightness and small wing span... (Swing/Strike V2?)

My 10 yr old grandkids handle the 2.5 Slick easily. Where the 4 mtr unit was a struggle, catching the tip, flipping over etc, they can turn the 2.5 over themselves. It's still early days but fun teaching them and I now have a wing to use myself when the wind is over 20 knots.

He can fly his 4m kite.
But I prefer getting him into winging on a foamy.
So keen to find a 1 or 1.5m wing given his height and the fact that he won't be on a foil for a while.

Saw someone in VIC selling a McConks 1.5m kite. Unfortunately it was gone instantly.

While I am trying to motivate my local shop to get some of those in.
If anyone has something similar on offer in OZ, or can reveal a good and hopefully inexpensive source that'd be great.

Hmmm, I had a Dart quiver last summer and my family used them. The 3.5 was proper power usually, however it is a twitchy mofo and not a good stable beginner wing. I am glad to be putting them all on Slingwing v3's now. Much easier. I will always have a place in my heart for the Darts.

The F-one are so light compared to other wings and ideal for kids. My 10 year old daughter learnt on a 4m F-one Swing with 70L board and 1500 HA foil. At 11 she is now ready to use the 5m F-one Strike with 36L board and 150 HA wing. So little information out there on kit for children so hope this helps.

I decided to get the inflatable windsurf sail as a intro to water sports for kids, but that is for a 4 year old. I actually ended up ordering directly from a manufacturer on alibaba. Cheap price, quality seems. good and only took a week to arrive. Plus given the intended purpose I was prepared to pay 100s for a kids toy. Definitely a risky option though, as some stuff on there is junk.
