at this moment Could I consider a 1 wing quiver to cover 12 to 30kts?
Do you have any experience on this kind of minimal quiver?
I don't, but my wife did use a 4.2 for this wind range when she started, and had just a couple of wings (she never liked wings bigger than 4.2, and uses them very rarely). But in the couple of years since then, that has changed, and she is now eager to switch to a 3.3 in about 17 knots, and a 2.5 in 23 knots, while often mentioning she could use a smaller wing for the really windy days. She's on a single front wing quiver (Armstrong HA 680).
I found that the more I wing, the more I like to be on the correct size wing for the conditions. I still appreciate the range wings offer when it's super-gusty or when the wing increases or drops, but otherwise, I'd rather be on just the right size instead of the next size up or down, both of which might also still work. It's more fun this way. I end up using wings until they
really need to be replaced, so having more wings (4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 6.5) does not really add to the costs, although it means I may be on older wings than I'd be with a smaller quiver.
