I'm 80kg dry. Only wave riding mostly small chops. Having a F-one rocket v2 85l, first version that is very light (maybe the light construction makes it harder to pump?). And Fone wing s 52l. I loooove the direct foil feeling of the 52l. Easier to pump and turn, but harder to get up on foil. Specially when wind dies and in cold winter time. Is there a board that could give me the same feeling as fone wing s 52 but being around 80l for knee start. Thinking about sabfoil Torpedo 90l. But haven't tried so don't know.

I had 54l rocket s, my new f one midlength 90l turns as quick and is easier. I'm 80kg too and will be selling my 90l and 65l to get one board.
It'll be the 78l f one midlength. You should get that as a one board quiver.

Europe. No problem starting 110 l dw board 19" when winging.

I,m 97kg riding strapless and demoed the Torpedo 100l and once on the foil it feels smaller as its size suggests, but in choppy conditions its also a lot less stable as most boards of thaty volume.I didnt feel it helped me quicker on the foil as my AK Phazer5.6x27x90l. Once on the foil the torpedo is great in carving due its small width.
Instead of the Torpedo I bought a KT superK 6.5x22x92l wich feels heaps bigger as the Torpedo100l.Very more stable, a lot quicker on the foil. Surfing it feels also a bit bigger as the torpedo, but this is the type of board you can pick a smaller size from while the Torpedo needs imo a bigger size (or compromise in stability/getting on the foil).
The KT SuperK feels a bit like a smaller DW board, but not too extreme.

a whole different route: my KT 5.4x22x56l is as quick on the foil as most 85l boards. a bit of extra length ad so more glide, its for me really worth it. Something below 5 is great when on the foil, but too much struggle imo to get on it.

If you look at the KT board line up, they have 3 "wing" boards. Short and wide and built for jumping "Maui winds," a bit narrower and a bit longer "good winds", and long and narrow "gusty, not powered winds." Super K 80l board would work great at getting you up early and not feeling wind chop while trying to pump onto foil like your wide nosed Rocket does, and still feel as nimble as your S.

Easy, get a KT Super K of course ; ) Yesterday's clip with endless waves in a new spot we just discovered. Such a lovely shape with a super reactive feel and good rail clearance that makes it effortless to carve these turns. Using a short 76 cm mast here:

the ML board feels reactive and fun even tho added length, does tight turns due to its slim size and is solid but light built
