Doesn't seem to be a consensus on what to call blasting around the ocean on a foil with a wing.

Wind Winging, Wing Foiling, Wing Boarding, Wing Surfing, Wind Dinging ...

What's your 2c on what it should be called.. ?

I like Wing-dinging but I think 'Wing-foiling' gets my vote.. Definitely not Wind-winging.

I like Wing-Dinging with the Wing-Thingy :-). It's easier to differentiate to Windfoiling. Hard times, get back on the water and think about it ;)

I name my garmin/Strava activities wing foil.
Where did the word ding actually come from in this sport? A ding is a damage to boards....

Windfoiling with a foil.
WingSupping with a SUP board.
Surprisingly, wing supping is kinda fun riding little 1' windswells in deep water and then winging back upwind.
I never surfed well with a long board, but now I see a usage for a 9'6" SUP ...fin riding tiny waves!

Some sites and mags are calling it Wingsurfing.

And you can Wingsurf with or without a foil.

Windsurfing..
Kitesurfing..
Wingsurfing..

its a wing so if you use it with a foil
Wingfoiling
with a board on flat
WingBoarding.
with a board in surf

For some reason Windsurfing is windsurfing regardless of the water.... interesting that we have Kiteboarding (freestyle tricks on flat water) and Kitesurfing (in the surf).

I see a lot of places calling it Wing Foiling (and I like), but Wingsurfing rings good too...

Whatever get the most votes is what we'll put in the menu on Seabreeze, and in the titles... heavy duty decision!

Yeah I would agree with this, there is so much crossover between the foiling genres it would be better to have them all in one foiling section

This reminds me of a movie where two asian chics were trying to come up with new cool trend-setting words to create hashtags and a following on social media. All fake crap of course. Similar to this "sport" that looks like a bunch of floating Mary Poppins with penguin shaped-umbrellas along the beach. #trolling

Must agree that as a spectacle winging is lame compared to kiting. However, the participants are not tools like "look at me" kiters #trolling
