I continue to be dumbfounded by the lifespan of my Ocean Rodeo Glide AA wings but you can't buy them anymore. There's only one brand that really catches my eye at the moment that I'd be willing to try if my quiver of apparently invincible wings dies.

I've never actually seen one, but these wings, their dims, weights, etc. all look good to me:

I've chatted with them and they seem cool but I was never able to get my hands on an Ezzy.

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know if Ocean Rodeo are planning to release a new wing in the near future?

I've had quite a few brands over the years but the North Wings w the Matrix canopy (Mode and Nova Pro) have held up better than anything else I've seen. They almost look new after a year of wave sailing and are still crisp after two seasons.

Tightness of canopy is 100% the main driving factor of longevity. Flapping and luffing deteriorate all that material quickly. The main area subject to luffing is the trailing edge so battens help a lot.

The high end wings cost up to $3k. I keep my eye out for lightly used second hand wings in the $500 to $700 range and change over frequently. Mine are used only in the surf and get trashed a lot. Really impressed with Smik V3 and the V4 which come with a boom now. If I had a $3k wing I wouldn't want to make a mistake. I do not demo the new ones then I don't want to buy one

Still waiting for availability launch but yes the gears are turning:

I'd love to see an AA 2.0 but my v1s have thousands of miles on them with no sign of wear so selling them off to get something new would feel odd. I pretty much always use 3m and smaller now, my 4m and 5m just sit in their bags chilling haha.

Man, I don't know ANYONE who pays full retail for wings. Everyone in the whole world it seems is riding New Old Stock at half price. I mean maybe once a year I see something Alula in the wild (and nothing alula ever gets discounted so you know they pay full ticket) but somewhere there's some dentist buying a full quiver of the current generation Dacron wings at full price subsidizing the rest of us!

Same here. They get used allot and still crisp. Bit heavier then some of the competition but much better quality.
