Hi, I've ridden this foil for lightwind winging and supfoiling a couple of years ago.
The only parameter I can think of from what you describe is shimming the stab.
Do you have a 3 red shims set with this foil? They are marked -0,5 / -1 / -1,5.
This set came included with the early Takumas and then dissapeared from the package.
Anyway, I allways used the -1,5 shim when winging with the Takumas.
Just to be clear, the thick part of those shims gets under the leading edge of the stab and tames down the tendancy to breach.
As a result the glide was really improved.
You can find alternative sets of shim that fit the V1 Takumas.
It's not clear if the originals were in mm. or degrees.
According to a friend using another shimset the Takumas were in mm. and a -1 degree matches the glide of the -1,5mm Takuma shim.
Hope this is clear enough.
