that is a particular case.
the Patrik boards have the usual US boxes for plate connection but also a far back deep Tuttle box to be able to use wind-foil foils.
When he went for the race, he was using a wind-foil foil, (not a wing-foil foil).
so when you would use the same board, with a wing-foil foil, your foil would be way forward, and as these, also your back foot will be more forward.
I was not using a windfoil foil, as they have a much longer fuselage than a wingfoil one, therefore you need to be much further forward compare to the mast,
also longer fuselage is for sure more stable but slower for winging. for racing I use a kite race foil, with harness and 44" harness lines
I have a very wide stance to get lower on the board and have better control
thanks

Hi,so your where the rider in the video?if so than i was wrong. I just had a talk with Henning (from Patrik) where we talked about a race, where "a" Patrik rider won. He had a lot more speed compared to F-One riders. F-One came into discussion as they spend a lot of money into there new foil fabric. And then henning said, that for this race the rider used a windfoil-foil.
So it looks it was another race, and not the one in the video.
And yes, he also mentioned the thing that food need to be more forward , that is also the reason why the tuttle box is totally in the back.
but great that you put some light into the tunnel :)
interesting to hear that have the wide stance to get lower on the board.
Does this also mean you used a very small front and backwing?
As I still just have a very huge frontwing (looking for smaller one, but still unclear which one... ) i also go lower, but at the same time i need to go forward as my frontwing produces to much lift then.
