Ok, find it a stable way to flip wing sitting, but will give it a go kneeling
Maybe you are a bit more ambidextrous than me, but If you can flip it either way (I favour holding the depower with my right hand) it will turn you beam on to the wind in the direction of your choice and save you shuffling hands around and twisting those hips to setup your popup/takeoff.
Ha. I'm on all fours like getting up on a SUP without a wing. I hold the wing leash close to the front handle so the wing can still lay flat on the water. Then I stand up & grab the front handle and off I go.
Ah, I can see it would be fine (even easier) on the board in light wind, flatter seas? My normal conditions are 2-3ft wind chop. I can't really kneel easily without the wing to balance with, so in the water it is.
