Hey everyone, Just sharing a quick clip from a recent session where everything clicked - solid average wind, 5m wing, fast takeoffs from a dock, and clean glides.
??

No tricks, just pure flow. I focused on staying light on the feet and then shifting into glide mode as quickly as possible. The foil F One JAM 1400 handled beautifully and let me stay up with minimal effort between gusts.

Gear felt perfectly balanced - no overpower, no drag - just responsive and efficient thanks to small, tinny 5L Naish MIchrochip board.

Would love to hear how others are tuning their setups for that smooth, low-effort ride.

Cheers, Cezary

so are you taking off as a dock start and then staying up with the wing?

i guess my first question is why are you using that board.

Yes, I start from the dock as you mentioned and then continue wingfoiling with the wing. It extends my pumpfoil sessions or lets me wingfoil in very light wind - around 4-5 knots with lulls - using a small wing. I also really enjoy wingfoiling with this small board. It gives me a much better feel for the foil compared to a regular wing board, which is usually thicker and larger than a pumpfoil board.
