The flare 175 tail also makes it easier to pump up onto the foil, it will shorten the "fuse" part of the one lock and I have no problem carving it for such a big foil. The 1325/175 I would consider my daily driver here in Florida, our winds generally around 10-16mph.
Not using any bolts on the foil is very nice system, we get so much salt corrasion here.
Being that I am on the bigger side at 6'4" and 230, is the 1525 going to be user friendly for me to learn jibes? I have experience in winging, and I am comfortable getting on foil and flying both directions, but I still consider myself to be a beginner.
