Anyone winged at Rotto? Where is the best location?

Yes. Away from the boats is a good place to start.
I've winged in Georgie bay and at transits but it is typically offshore so be prepared for a paddle in if gear breaks.

Agree with Pete.
Big swell and 12 to 15 knot SW perfect for Transits if your looking to ride waves. Any windier and the waves get blown out
