I bought an AXIS titanium screw set last June and I got two of them (M6) to snap in the last two weeks. Anyone having similar issues?

I snapped one m6 ti bolt last year.. turned out I was way over tightening then.. worth using a torque wrench a few times to get a feel for how tight is tight enough ..

It's a pretty soft metal (titanium).. You are better off using S/S because the weight saving is minimal.

A cracked titanium stud caused the loss of a S92 helicopter in 2009, loss of 17 souls. Titanium will crack after repeated use, as DJ said, 316 stainless is a better option.

Yes, replace all ti with 316 ss. Whose idea was it to use ti? I was lucky to recover my Slingshot foil from lake bottom after ti fuse/mast bolts failed. Has happened to other foilers i know.

I wonder if this'll be an issue with Armie's new neo-chrome titanium screws.
