I use the stinkbug start 99% of the time and am finding the elbows on my wetsuits are getting trashed fast. May cut off the elbow portion sleeves on my old suits and use as extra protection. Bit of a kooky issue but do we need elbow patches on our winging suits now? Maybe it's just my sharp elbows...

especially with a Fanatic Skywing, the pad is very very aggressive.
tried it with short sleeve wetsuit and was almost bleeding...

Have not noticed any wear on mine.
But i mostly ride a Naish 85l.I do not need to use elbows as much as on the sinker, plus the pad is soft.

The wear is in the inside of the suit at the elbow from leaning on it.
I've worn through 3 suits like this (2 x 6mm suits) and needed reinforcing.
Now what I do instead of leaning on the tip of the elbow, is to lean on the whole forearm, a bit more unstable but should not wear out the elbows.
