If you live in a real light wind area then "Yes". Sometimes the 5M is just enough to get me up in thermals 12-15 kts where's as the 4M takes perfect technique and a bit of luck. That's on my North SF830. If you have larger high lift foils that you like riding, then that changes the graph.
