at the moment I'm thinking about a new wing. My ozone WASP V2 is nice but has too much trailing hand pressure in strong wings.
Are there others some have the same experience?
which one do you like better?

I used to have a full quiver of Ozone's, upgraded 3 and 4 to KTs, still have 5 and 6 ozone's.
the KTs do everything better, they feel great, have better handles and behave really well overpowered.
I want to get a 5KT and I won't get a 6 again, the KTs have better low end.

I had a V1 Wasp and it was the same, all back hand. I think it's just their design philosophy.

I'm thinking that in the same way a small light windsurfing person have their harness lines in a different position to a larger heavier person that heavy back hand pressure might vary from person to person..

Long handles or mini boom handles should help with this issue..

What size are you using.

V1 was very backhand but I find v2 very nice. They also seem to go upwind better than any wing I have followed.

i find the balance very nice in their wind range and more settled between the hand pressure than other wings which I found needed more constant adjustment. I think the more front handed wings don't seem to go up wind as nice also. I think it is a beautiful thing when the wing size is perfect and the wing just flys so nice but a lot of wingers are always over winged which I think is why so many experiences differ.

I had a 5m Wasp v2 for a while - I found it very back handed in gusts. I'm used to more forward pulling wings so I found it a bit agricultural to be honest , esp for a v2 wing. I was surprised that the draft seemed to move around so much - always hated that feeling in a windsurf sail and hate it in a wing as well , considering that there are plenty of wings that don't get so back handed in gusts. Hopefully Ozone have raised their game for their v3 wings.

i have 96 kg ;-)

in comparison to the ozone V2 are the Naish wings more balanced, but the handles not as good .

Very opposite in fact to my experience. When the V2 is held vertical in its correct wind range the wing actually drives forward, like a kite racing to the edge of the wind window, towing me forward steeply upwind rather than pulling my front hand in a downwind direction.

Horses for courses i guess but yes when overpowered in gusty winds and needing to bleed power by letting the back hand out it will feel very backhanded but so do all the wings that aren't so spongy.

Would love to know what wings make the v2 agricultural

I agree with Anyboard - the V2s were much more front hand pressure for me. At first I was not a fan (with my 5.0) but then grew to like it. Great overall performance.

I only feel backhanded om my V2 6 in strong gusts, but oth it pulls like a truck in low winds. Meanwhile i use a harness with the 6, that helps a lot.
With the V2 5 and 4 i don't feel backhanded but i hold them rather vertical even in stronger winds where they deliver a lot of forward pull.
Key for this is the use of a fast foil that can translate the pull in speed. I guess with a bigger and slower foil that pull could get too much.

Guess you're right I'm thinking about giving the WASP V2 5 a try
