Just finished up my first parawing review. I'm by no means an expert on parawings but wanted to share/document what I saw and experienced with beginner vision.

Sweet review Bryan! I feel like you need to get out in some milder conditions too though! It's so much fun in that 18-25 knot range, mid rollers coming down the river.
If I see your gear setup under the tree at the Hatchery with a wing, I'm going to hide your wing so you have to parawing.

Good review. I like your stow video breakdown, I am struggling with the lines hanging down and getting twisted when I turn upwind on the swell. I will try the fold up method you described so well.

What's winging and where is the Hatchery? Haha JK! I've been selling off my wings and the biggest is a 3m now. Trying to make up my mind on the next size pocket rocket to order to fill that light wind hole. I have a buddy who wants to learn the parawing and he's a big Hatch fan so who knows... maybe I'll start showing up there again!?

Otherwise we should meet for Stevenson easterly runs in 30-40 knots this fall!?

I feel your pain and was struggling with the exact same thing. I felt like if I put any style or character into my swell rides I would tangle the dangle. LMK how it works out for you. A few friends who ride the big sizes say they start the initial A-line collapse by using Dimitry's 4'A method and then use my anchorpoint method to fold the lines and canopy up.

same! riding ocean swell in sub-15 knots on foil has been a real eyeopener for me - such a quiet dreamy ride without all the windchop and wind noise.
We're often at the end of a long trade fetch here, solid 7-10 sec tradeswell thats clean and lined-up, in steady 10-12 knots yr carving powder, would be so much nicer without the big inflatable wing dangling there tho ;)
Will need to wait for a gust+chip-in combo when falling - and really work on that tricky open-ocean boardpumping skill [i dont SUP] - but hoping to get the hang of relaunching a 4.7-ish parawing onswell and, well.....ultimate upwind-downwinder for me, all the flow of deep powder out on a warm sunny blue ocean.
