G'day, I have just recently moved to Noosa from the UK. I am a beginner foiler (up to 3-5 second flights) so I am not really ready for the river mouth. My van should arrive at the end of the month and the container not long after. :)Which area is best for a newbie like me? Lake Weyba or Lake Cootharaba? I have checked out the Lake Weyba spot and met some friendly locals.I have my own kit including a 4.5m and a 6m wing. (Although I need to repair the 4.5m - punctured bladder).

Definitely Boreen Point !
I was visiting last week and had 3 epic sessions
85cm mast is as long as you can go
Shorter is definitely better

Take Woongar St down to the parade - Bingo. You can go off the main dinghy beach but end up walking out a fair way. The camping grounds are too shallow near shore for a foil. = (Elanda and at Boreen)
For wind readings : the sailing club has a Holfuy setup

Direction: SE-E-ENE
