Pitch would definetely help for straight runs , but mainly roll , especially for jibes
When I jibe it, I have a hard time to keep a smooth / constant turn when water is not flat . Often I tend to turn too sharp and risk of falling inside. so I release the pressure a bit, but then I start turning back in the other direction right away as it seems so sensititive.
And for straigth runs, I can manage, but damn it's so sensitive I have to stay always 100% focused.
I don't have this problem with the 950 and S399.
I am probably not at the same level as you guys. But the W1110 is so efficient, the hand wing feels so light when I use it, and I can upwind without any effort in the arms.
When I look at the web site info, there is only 4mm difference between the 2 (S399 and S430) . And the S399 has a pretty long tail to fit the end of the fuselage. Isn't the extra 4mm of the stab cord for the 430 toward the back (so with a smaller tail) so that the front fits the fuselage notch? Can anyone provide a measurement of the S430 between the center of the 1st screw to the front of the stab
Maybe the new S380 would fit and be more stable ? I would prefer not buying an old stab, I remain under the impression that there was further improvements for stabs recently.
