Anyone ridden / have any comments on the new SHA foils from Naish?

I truly cannot find anything about them online besides the promo video from Naish.

It seems besides a few topics on this forum in general discussions on the Naish foils are pretty sparse.

Apologies for the low level of hype out there on these weapons! Here's a quick vid I did some time ago. I have had a sample for a few months prior to the launch, so could post much, and now weather has been shocking and not many good seasons to share.

And here's a more recent session on the 933.

Thanks for sharing JB;

I really appreciate the more raw footage. And the shots of the foil make it look like an absolute weapon.

How would you compare the 933 to the 1133?

Have you used either for wing / PW laps?

The 933 is surprisingly powerful comparatively, but quite a bit swifter and faster. I can flat water paddle up the 1133, but not even close on the 933. like all AR13, speed is your ally. We've been winging the 733, and it is crazy powerful on the wing and scarily fast in light conditions, but you'll end up nose down as you get super lit. The Mach-2's will handle a lot more top end (a lot more) at the sacrifice of bottom end. I love the 711 Mach-2 and honestly while it feels overly stable with the 210 M2 rear, it's actually faster and easier than the 170 M2 which really surprised me!

as a wing race quiver, I might go 933 SHA for drifters, then straight to the 711.
best to understand that the SHA is not designed for winging, but incredible glide and power/pump (best suited to DW esk riding). The Mach-2's are accessible speed! Yes there's faster foils out there at a cost (in many ways), but the mach-2 is light, stiff and soo fast for how easy it is to use.
hope this helps,

JB

Apologies for resurrecting an oldy, but how do these compare with the glider foils?

Is the 933 sha a significant performance upgrade on the glider 1400 for down winding?

And what's the point in having both the glider products and the sha products in the range?

Thanks

I'm thinking the Glider series uses a special fuselage so maybe stiffer..

I saw all the new Naish boards at Hood River at the AWSI Sept this year , they looked really nice and a design shift from their traditional shapes.

Would the 1400 Glider be suitable for light wind wingfoiling for intermediate 70kg rider?
