Anyone tried the Naish 7.2? I have the 6 and the 4.6, the 6 has been pretty good but I need a bit more power on light days. Considering the 5.5 A Wing but I can't imagine its a powerful as the 7.2. Anyone tried both?

Only person I have seen using one is JB from Naish. He's posted a few videos in some pretty light glassy winds. Check out the Naish Instagram vids.
There's an as new 7.2 in the buy and sell right now going cheap if you live in WA. The 5.3 is big enough for me.

For those living in Melbourne it's my fault that the winds have been crazy strong these last few days.. (since I bought a 7.2)..

I can't wait to try it..

Haha, yes David.

I don't think it was needed yesterday - not designed for 30 - 50 knots! But it will be interesting to see how it goes in very light conditions.

The 7.2m is a beast. I have had some great sessions on it in ridiculously light conditions. It is big in the wing tips, but has the same span as the 6m (approx. 3m tip to tip) so it is very useable. One of the key things is learning to pump it. because of the depth of the strut and profile, you can not just aggressively pump it like you would the smaller wings. I like to do a more dual handed or even front handed pump. Once up you will glide through just about anything.

Here's my first session, it is a little long, but it was my first go and I talk a bit through my findings. As you'll see it was really light.

A super good wing if you wish t ride on light days, on lakes and relatively flat water.

Ride safe,
