The Matador 4m are on offer in uk, about 40% off. I have the 6m which is ok but not great imo, back winds in higher wind range, rear handle a reach coming out of gybes.
I like the idea of 6&4m quiver and makes life easy having same brand with pumps.
Question is do the Matadors work better in smaller 4m size with not the same annoying traits of the 6m. Thanks in advance.

I think they are.. I've used the 3,4,5 and 6 and it was only the 6 that I had any back winding problem when overpowered.. It's a wing that was designed for wave riding so it has plenty of low end grunt and is made to be flagged while surfing the wave.. 4 and 6 is a good quiver.

4m good at everything but relatively hard to get right sheeting angle to control power in strong winds.
