No issues with my 28" mast
but my 32" mast makes a lot of noise and may even slow me down
i notice there is more noise when using my HA foils like the 120 or 200, but less with the MA.
is it twisting on me?
any color?

I didn't know how flexy my Lift mast was until I got onto a Cedrus. It was night and day, particularly when pumping the larger high aspect wings (170, 200, 250). The Lift whistled no matter what I did to it and the Cedrus is silent. The Lift is definitely faster though. I'm comparing 32" Lift to 32" Cedrus.

Thx. Mine is moaning like a dying whale. not the normal whistling noise. So you think it is twisting?

Mine was a constant whistle with pitch varying based on speed. I tried some sanding, but admittedly I wasn't particularly forensic about my methods. I don't know anything about a moaning noise. You sure your bolts are snug?

I experienced some sonics on my 36" Lift mast when I first got it. A mate suggested to give the trailing edge a light sand on one side only. I did this on the lower half of the mast being the part in the water at speed, the sonics went away completely

Some friends that are sponsored riders menstioned one batch of masts had a trailing edge finish issue that made them noisy. Check out the foil sanding video by Levitaz foils on YouTube for the fix. Generally a thicker trailing edge needs more aggressive sanding
