There are a lot of topics about products of bigger brands such as duotone/fanatic, armstrong, axis, f-one,. but I've personally always been an admirer of smaller, lesser-known brands. There are so many niche brands like onix foils and many gifted shapers like noremana. And then there are the brands that are still in the R&D stage like neon foiling and brainchild. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to start a thread to share what's out there and how it performs!

I'll start: currently riding Reptile sports wings, a (custom) flikka board and takoon foils (reviews in comments).

Hydro foil boards: hydro.it/
Seen at Fuerteventura (Canary Islands) on my holiday but made in Italy and they are a piece of art, very strong and light with a beautifull finnish. Pics on the website don,t do justice.I have spoken a lot to the shaper, Giacomo, on the beach and when I need a new bigger board I want one of him.
He makes everything from very wide tailed fanatic alike freestyle boards to slender surfstyle boards.
He was also working on foils and the proto,s looked are very promissing (MikesLab level).

I fully agree. Hydro boards look phenomenal, one of the many custom brands in EU. Any clue regarding their pricing?

I am using Sroka made in Fance carbon board and their foils. New HA foils are really amazing. Had never any problems with board or foils. And the prices are competitive.

I have a Mojo board from Hungary .

Great custom boards . My board is 5KG for a double carbon 80l board . You can specify where you want the tracks placing in relation to the trailing edge , the exact rail and board shape and colour design .
Bertalan is a fantastic guy and always willing to help and accommodate your needs .

checkout mojoboards.hu for more details.

Awesome. My 100l standard construction flikka weighs 5.77 kg. It's super solid and bomb proof. So far survived many crashes and hard handles.

Kauper XT makes good looking wings. Small German brand with competitive pricing. Would love to try one.

I'm really looking forward to the 8m. The weight of their other wings is very promising!

One brand I'd like to get my hands on would be BRM .. but the shipping cost to Europe are absurd.

I didnt ask about the Hydro pricing. I bought in nov my new AK Phazer and KT56l and didnt want tempt myself, but think in the 1500-1600euro pricing.

SOS Surf / MOzCustoms collaborative design

Earliest flying board as its a bit longer which enables a proper fast rocker

5'9" - 95L

80L coming....

And proper track install that doesn't fall to bits if you pump.

Like most new watersports, if you want a board built right and all the major brands' stuff is falling apart - you get a windsurf guy to make it

Queensland based
I've had my board for over a year & love it
Always nice to be able to talk with the shaper about the design & how he makes them etc before pulling the trigger.

Yep, a big thumbs up for Mitch at Carbonco, not only can you choose a design and tinker with it you can also pick your materials that the board is built from. I'm currently on a Carbonco 74 ltr board, very light but I choose ineggra rather than carbon as I wanted a board with flex. Brilliant board, and although barely 5 kgs has held up great in the last 12 months of hard use.
