Sorry guys. Just asking for another comparison in build & performance between Konrad v2 & Cabrinha v2 wind wings in the 6 meter size.
Konrad looks simple & the Cabrinha more tech.
I'm a little concerned for too much tech like extra boom chambers etc. For when it comes to repairs or faults.

Hi Seajuice I know nothing about the Konrad but I do about the Cabrinha v2 and it is next level I've used 4 makes of wings and the new design is really good it is tops for pumping with the wing holding its shape through the pump giving heaps of grunt and it floats very stable because the wing section is so stable (the airfoil shape )
I think far as if you had a problem with the strut bladders it would be no different to remove and repair or replace
the performance of this wing is like a cambered windsurf sail so for a blow up wing it's as close to a cambered wing as there is anywhere
I will be interested to hear from people that have knowledge of the Konrad and there thoughts

Thanks stroppo. Makes sense. As a beginner who hasn't got up on the foil in wind. I think a 6 meter should do the job compared to my 4 meter Naish V1. In around 15 knot wind.

I've demoed the 6 metre Cabrinha.

What I liked: Powerful -- very fast to get on foil in light winds and pumped nicely. The two mini booms or handles worked well for me. I have 4 and 6 metre Wasps that have been retrofitted with booms and a 5 metre Echo. I prefer the booms over the Cabrinha's mini booms but they worked well.

Inflating the wing wasn't a major issue and the two valves are a nice safety feature.

What I didn't like: I found the 6 metre Cabrinha backwinded more than the Wasp or Echo in gusts, which made it somewhat tricky to handle. Personally I think if the front handle was extended by five or six inches it would help with control in gusts. When deflated it was cumbersome to pack-up and it didn't fit the bag very well (there's a lot of wing to fit into the bag).

The Cabrinha dual strut system makes the most sense of any design to me, especially for larger sizes. I have a normal wing with a single inflatable strut and it is so inefficient when pumping because the draft pocket flaps with each stroke, even when pumped rock hard. It seems to me Cabrinha solved this problem, and I have never been a Cabrinha fan from my kiting days.

I find it to be a great wing, light for its size, heaps of power, expected in such a big wing I suppose. It pulls well in 9.0knots and I can be up and foiling without pumping myself to death.
I have been out with it in 18 knots and survived.
When it is right way up it sits on the water without jumping all over the place, or trying to drag me into the water while I get setup.
Upside down it is no worse than the NAISH V1.
For me it is a great wing, rigid when pumped to 7 psi, easy to control and fun to use.

I will.
I went to have a session on my Naish V1 on my skinny tippy JP 26 wide board.
Was predicted to be up to 30 knots. So thought this time I'll have the best chance to get up on foil for my first time. Guess what? It was lucky to get to 10 knots soon after I inflated my wing!
So packed up, changed foil & went for a foil surf. Lucky to get a few short rides. Haa!

I found that it tended to push back in gusts, especially heading upwind, which was a bit disconcerting. It was a little harder to control in these conditions compared to the other wings I have used.

Yep agreed, a LOT of the new grungier wings are great in the bottom end but when the wind picks up a LITTLE more they want to backwind you and have heaps of back arm pressure, the Konrad doesn't do this and is a great wing.
