Both have great reputations. Nice thing about the Carver is you can request it with no inserts and in vapor build for no upcharge. Mine clocked in at 4.9kg and was a beast. I asked KT for a no inserts version and they said it would be a custom, I think a $400 increase. Most Sunova alterations that change the actual shape are 10% last I checked. So, for $185 you can skim the volume, shave an inch, etc.

Maybe one is more shark resistant? The rider apparently got back on and is unharmed.
