Just make some out of the size you like dyneema rope, 3-4mm Bungy and plastic hook from your local marine shop. You'll put one on each wing for the cost of one harness line and this one is easy to fit and adjust. Easy to make, easy to use.No flapping about

I just embedded the bungee inside of the harness line. No flapping. Stays out of the way and the setup is clean with no extraneous lines messing about. Maybe I have PTSD from sailing I-14s but I'm always thinking about how can I keep things simple.

I like your original solution... Just wondering what size and type of cord and diameter bungee you used on the version you made with the bungee inside? Does it pull up enough computer to the version you pictured above? Thanks

Hey all,

Anyone has experience with the 'Mystic Wing Harnesslines Center Connect'?
www.you-love-it.eu/shop/en/mystic-center-connect-harness-line-for-hard-handles-2025

I'm looking for a vario mono line and this one looks ok. They have two variantions, that appears to be measuring the distance between boom and hook: 25-33cm/33-42cm. If not other suggestions for mono/vario lines are welcome! Thanks!

The weight of the mono harness lines makes a big difference. If they are heavy with a bunch of bells and whistles, they will swing a lot when you are pumping the wing and can clock you in the face. I used a setup from wingman (www.wingman-products.com/the-wingman-loop-system/) that looked perfect on paper but was unusable because it kept whacking me in the face. From my experience the lighter and simpler the better. I currently use one from Chinook that is pretty good, although still overbuilt in my opinion.

I recently saw these bungee mono lines and bought one to experiment with for wing and parawing. Like the bungee feature and minimalist setup.

Thank you! The chinooks look nice. What size fixed lines do you use on a boom? The parawing ones look good too. Aren't bungee lines too stretchy?

There is a fixed line inside the bungees, so once it is stretched to the length of the fixed line it stops stretching. The bungee retracts when it is unloaded.

Im pretty tall, but I use the 26" chinook. I'd probably go 24" if I bought it again.

I'm using the shortest one at the shortest setting. PVC tubing snapped on the first session. It was still usable, but too long. The warranty replacement has been fine for a few sessions now. Just need to really tighten it on the boom so that it does not slide around when rotating it out of the way to pump. (And even when it's not rotated up, it doesn't swing when pumping at the shortest setting that I'm using).

So, would a 24" Chinook windsurf monoline be equivalent to a Medium PKS bungee monoline (since 24"/ 2 = 12" or 30 cm)?

I have tried a few types of harness lines. I too do not recommend the Wingman harness lines as they are heavy and get in the way.
My favourite by far is this: winglines.com
Monoline adjustable.

I reckon that single point attachment is the best for 'feeling' the wing, and it is light and simple. It doesn't slide once locked on the handle / boom and is easily adjustable on the fly.

Yes, I assume so. I should have one within the next few days and will measure it out. I got a medium and a large.

Has anyone tried the Forward WIP harness line with a bungee and some kind of magnetic quick release?
