I've been learning stinkbug start, or some variation. I have hand on windward rail through front handle on strut pressing strut down across board for stability. If wings have hard handles doesn't it press into deck, especially the handle's corner if rough sea trying to tip it?

I've put some foam over the hard corners of the hard handles on my Mode. Works a treat as yes the wing handles do clang all over the board during stinkbug.
