Best thing to do with that if its an original, is sell it before you explode the leading edge. I fell lightly into mine and it self destructed. A modern 5m wing has more power than that one. The battens didn't seem to do much for me except be annoying and add weight.

I bought it second hand for cheap, only used it a few times. It definitely has more power than my echo 5 and my FU 5.
The original owner never used the battens.
Had some fun with it yesterday, 95% of the time I will do something else if there's not enough wind for a 5.
