i live on the GC and been trying to get into this sport.
im a kite surfer and no experience on a foil, I have the full setup but haven't been able to get up.

Ive been trying at runaway bay kite spot but its quite wavy with the chop.

is there any beginner friendly areas that may be less prone to sharks as well? I've been kite surfing for years and haven't spent this much time in the water not moving and it seems to have brought a fear on haha

is Currumbin good and easy? What wind direction?

ideally a lake that I can use to it, once I'm up and going and can go back and forth I'll have no issues going back out again across the seaway..
