Just got one of these, now the third GoFoil wing I have ridden, I didn't keep the EZ1270 as it had too high a stall speed for the wind where I foil, this is my first time on the NL220
first impressions - it's large 96.5cms wide!. My other wing is the Maliko200. The NL220 doesn't seem to come up on foil, even if you pump, I found it needs some speed and then you just level the board and it picks up. Very stable in the chop and very maneuverable for the size, seemed to have a bit of speed but the wind was rather weak.
I put some rubber over the tips to prevent cuts (see if it helps or not) and I expect the tips will eventually break off. Other users out here have any feedback for foiling, I only wing and don't ride waves, sometimes try to catch swell but it's pretty flat where I am

I've just retired my M200
Last week I got a cheap EZ1600 and it gets going in the same wind with my Slick 7m and yesterday for the first time I was able to get up and properly foil on my switch side and I also pulled off my first on-foil gybe.
Big milestones for me in the one session. I've also used my RS1300 in light winds and found it gets up and stays up, whereas the M200 sinks like a stone as soon as the wind drops out of the wing.
The M200 is great on my prone board for efoiling with FoilDrive as it gets me up easy on flat water, no waves, no paddle (84kg)

the M200 has been my mainstay and I found the more I use it the more I can squeeze out of it, but great to hear that the 1600 is taking you further, those new wings are very thin and light too, the M200 is a brick! Would be happy to hear about other experiences with GF gear. I'm using the FTS14.5 which I find suits me better than the Kai tail. I have found that if there is just enough breeze when I'm up and I have the energy I can pump the M200 and the NL220 right across my local bay - it's a very good workout

Get yourself a 20" tail, I find it really gives me good stability with very little unwanted pitching and is fast enough for my current skill level I first used the 20" with my GT1250 prone surfing and had an AHa! moment as to how tails/stabs affect the front wings characteristics
I now use the 20" pretty much all the time as it's giving me more time on foil. when I get to the point of being able to crank turns and pump I'll probably refit the 14.5FTL

Those NL winglets do pretty much nothing, safer on your wings and your body to sand them off, or at least square them off dull. You can get NL wings for super cheap these days, as they have been replaced by new lines....$300US new on GoFoil site, and cheaper used. I think they are decent...but I moved on from mine in chasing the performance dream. The new RS line is quite good, though the NLs work fine.

Agree on 20" tail. The 14.5L is my go to for winging, but the 20 really add a nice stable feel, works especially well with the larger wings.

Juan good to hear from you, ya the winglets will probably break off anyways, I heat shrunk some plastic over the tips to shape and then glued it - softer, you can just make out the black tips breaching in the vid (2.09)- yep being cheap myself was the reason I jumped on this one - works pretty well for the kind of winds we get, my little 65cms mast though was hard work in that chop, keeping the board above and the foil below - I don't find the 14.5 unstable for now, but that little board is hard work to get up in the chop with on off gusty wind, got a few more wind days before work kicks back in, if my wonky old body can keep up
