Just picked up a new toy, haven't had a chance to get out on it yet, not even once, but it's tomato red and looks cool, it even came with a fancy cover with velcro. So my other foil is a M200 which I am really enjoying especially as the wind has been on the light to very light scale. Will update from time to time to give feedback on this little beauty. The wing creases are really cool, it's very light and much thinner at the trailing edge and wingtips than I thought - hoping it will take me to a new wing foiling heaven

Interesting choice. What are you going to use it for?

Er waves or flat water? Why did you choose it? I would have thought it would be slow for its size.

It was shiny red and economically viable, I think it will suit my cruisy laid back slacker foiling style. Forecast is no more wind for 2 weeks. I just took it out on the water to set up the mast position, it is much less floaty than the M200 and makes the board squirrely at very slow speeds - will have to adjust, anyway no wind so it's off to the ice cream shop

Try the new FT tails if you can.

I'd actually like to try that size foil to find out how it feels

Me too but 2 weeks of NO wind, it's going to be a long wait and not good for my waistline

I don't know much about ez line....but looks like a nice easy ride as described, will probably be slower and turn nicely. I learned on M200 and am pretty confident anything made since is going to blow your mind how much better it is. x2 for Hilly, the FT tails are a wow, some kinda magic there. Spend the $, you won't regret it. But if the $ is tight, then you can buy the prior generations for really cheap now.....strongly recommend moving on from that gen 1 stab, it's like towing an anchor

Ya I figured in addition to M200 which I am going to keep - it's so chilled, the EZ sounds groovy, I just wonder if the 1600 would cover more wind conditions. As for the stabs I have an early Kai and a newer Kai and I don't see much difference, the newer kai has slightly sharper wings at the back near the fuse and the tail of the fuse is about 1cm shorter - really is there that much difference. As for the FT's they are on my wish list too

A Kai is a kai, regardless of age. I was meaning the flip tip and flat stabs as a middle price option. Requires a pedestal. They are pretty cheap used now that everyone is pursuing fts and ftl

I think I will probably skip the flip tips and pedestals and aim straight for the FT's, but for now the Kai has good yaw stability, don't forget I am only a dozen sessions into this sport and half of those have had about 10 minutes of good wind, this has been the most windless summer ever
