I have the Jet 2000, I weight 85kgs. I started with the mast back (align the front of the blate with the start of the R in HOVER) and my front foot is way in front of the strap. If seems that you have your plate near the front of the track and you get in the footstraps. I am not sure what I am missing.

Thanks for the encouragement yesterday, it was the first time I have really got to fly properly. With the wing and foil.
Lots of practice obviously required, but had on hoot regardless.

Thanks and we have all been there struggling on our first days.. It gets easier with each session.. Yesterday was very strong and gusty at times.. So not ideal for learning.. Hopefully soon I'll get some vid of you up and flying.

Re the water on the lens.. Easy.. Don't fall in..

Just kidding.. I fall in all the time..

I always struggled with water on the lens after a fall and nothing really worked so I bought one of those thin glass things that stick on the lens (a bit like a phone screen protecter) and they have some kind of coating that stops water sticking..
I'll post a link when I remember what it was.

What model Hover do you have?

I have the Hover Ultracarbon 110 from last year, same color scheme as yours.

Willl keep trying, things make a bit more sense every time I go out.

haha i guess Freezing is all relative - no 5mm wetsuit and gloves and hood that some of us non Ozzies have to endure!

i have the 110 and 90kg + thick wettie....i have placed mine in different positions over the last few mths from rear to front - i reckon (but no expert) that middle to front (i have had mine about 2cm from front) works best...i just moved mine to the very front (using inside holes) to see whats that like...but imo most setups ive seen with the naish are fwds of the middle....but it depends on what you feel comfortable with. my feeling is that if its not breaching (i can keep it down) and its not killing my front leg, i will keep going fwd.

Ha.. Yes I'm sure cold for us is probably not that cold at all compared to other parts of the world.

The foil is the new big HA 2140.

Makes total sense, that's what I've been doing too. I guess I should also start moving my foot further back. I got some NSI hooks will put those jn the foremost position and try to use them.

This is my friend on his new Hover 110 and even though he doesn't use foot straps you can see his feet are pretty close to where they would be.
