Hello,
Has anyone encountered a problem with a duatone slick sls wing tearing open at the center strut where the top part of the boom connects? As a new user I can not attach photos to show as an example.

Since no one replied I'll take a stab. Nope, never the slightest issue with a 4 wing quiver of SLS Slicks and a 4 wing quiver of original Slicks before that. I've seen numerous hard handle failures at the forward attachment location for other brands and read about them on Units. Did you submit a warranty claim? A picture would really help

Never seen this type of failure. I have quiver of SLS wings and use them a lot. Locally we have a lot of Duotone users - no such problems with Slick and SLS wings.

Never had this problem on my Duotone Slicks or SLS wings. They get used a lot and have taken some overpowered abuse but it's a tough sport for the kit and I guess there are all sorts of failures.
I did have a leading edge burst on a new 7m SLS and had to warranty. Although it took a few weeks to sort out which wasn't helped by being remote in the North of Scotland they did come through and sent me a new wing without argument. They made me cut the damaged one up rather than send it back but had to have time/date photos of it cut in half. I understand they are preventing fraud but seemed like a waste of a wing which could have gone back for repair.
Hope you get it sorted out.

Hi Rob215.
Wow, what happened to cause this? was it a regular crash. Rolled under a wave? Or just when pumping up the wing? I've had 5 slicks of different generations and none have shown any sign of compromise. Which gen slick was it?
