Seems like a no brainier in retrospect for skipping the big board phase and making that taco phase safer.

So board shape never mattered.. that sucks! (...4 boards in the past 4 years)

Yes, once you in air board is just platform you standing on, but before, in displacement mode, it's different story. Of course if it's windy enough you can get up on anything.

I believe someone was working on a platform which held the rider and foil which then got bolted onto different hulls to change volume.
