Watch the video, he foiled away from the landing nice and smooth as well. Also some of the freestyle jumps he and Balz were throwing in Brazil were noteworthy.

Apparently he's riding a 25l board. Uses a 530 cm foil. Does a boat launch. I assume the boat is a RIB (from a video) and he sits on the edge and wings away. Doesn't use a leash. He doesn't fall . His boat or his mates go and get his stuff if he loses it.

Saw the Strike Wing out in the wild yesterday - looked good & seemed to handle gusty conditions well.
Hopefully going to get to demo one today...

I keep thinking, "Pull in the back hand. Level off. Soar the compression updraft on the set wave." Maybe at Nazare or Jaws?
