I'm in need of a new 5.5m wing and am looking specifically for a wing that flags very well.

I'm looking at 2023 or older wings as there are good savings on them in the UK compared to the newly released 2024 wings.

So.......what would you go for?

Hard to compare size differences since my biggest is a 4.2m but:

My 4.2m Cloud IX Ho'Okipa wing flags out great.
My 3m and 2.5m Ocean Rodeo Glide A flag out great.
The new Strike v3 does not flag out well.

I pretty much just use the wing for upwind potential and am always flagged out, so I'm on the hunt for the same performance as you are.

I have the new KT direct drive 3 and 4, updated the old KTs, that were very good. The new one look almost the same, with the addition of skinny rigid handles, but behaves even better. It's basically a wave wing, flags incredible well, and it's super powerful. You can go a size down. Also a great benefit in the surf.tested and designed in Maui, so you know it will be good in strong winds and big surf.

I actually have the 2 KTs and a 5 Smik, the Smik is very good, but they are not that powerful and the handles are not great, you can get similar handles to the KT's but they are $90 a piece.

I think OP is UK based. Cloud IV, Ocean Rodeo, Smik and KT are brands that are not readily available in the UK (if at all). I've used the F-One Swing v3 and that flags well. I've heard the XPS does too.

Price is pretty attractive even in the Aussie dollar but when converting it to the Euro or pound it looks even better!!
Might not come in a super flashy bag but they are nice tight wings with good power and super nice handles. Plus you can buy two for the price of most other wings

That is a great price. Do you know if the pump adapter is universal or needs a special adapter (like Duotone)?

Brand owner/designer.
Pump end is like the pics attached, we actually just changed to this style as it's far better for things like downwind packups as less chance of water getting into the bladders when deflating out in the ocean..
The ends are pretty universal as they are the same end that is on all inflatable SUPs so they can be brought pretty much anywhere plus I have a heap of adopters for those that don't have that particular end.

This is not wave riding and is on the prototype but this is exactly the same as the new production V2 wings. Wish I could have filmed the little session out Currumbin just now as it was 3-4ft down the line on the sets and would have shown the wing working perfectly.

I owned the Smik V1+V2, Cabrinha Mantis V2+V3, Unit Dlab 2022+ tried lot of wings and imo the Ozone,s Flux is imo a league on its own.
