I wanting a low priced 3.5m windwing that has solid handles or a boom for the occasional over 25kn wind days.

I am thinking Slick with mini boom so what advice is available, thx?

Now the V3 Cabrinha Mantis have just been released, you should be able to get a good deal on a V2 3.5 .. can't recommend them highly enough ..

but it would depend on what you already have.. I'd be inclined to stick with the same brand / model as your larger wings for continuity ..

Do you ride in the surf? If so the new model of the Smik with the solid handle option is due in shops in the next couple of weeks...

The 3m X2 was / is tiny .. More like a 2.5 Mantis V1 or 2 in my experience.

I never tried an X3 but they do that in 3.5

Alternatively, maybe you could find a Dakine Cyclone wing or Mantis V1 in 3.1 ... Both great options too

Worth keeping in mind when making a quiver of mixed brands, that one brands 3.5. Could be another's 4.5, or vice versa.
I found the 6m X3 to be the same size as my Slick 5m.
