An update from my side.Really short about me:47y old, avid wavesailor, supper 95/97kg from the Netherlands-Europe, living 15min from the Northsea.
Started wing in oct yes, just before it get cold here and quite often freezing. Started it of with an Fanatic Skywing5.8 and an Gofoil M200/IW quiver.
After an long search on whats available and what do i like I bought last month an Sab quiver with the 82 mast, HD fuse and 1100+950 fronts and 483 stab.
Short one: love it!

A bit longer

:The first sess I went to a lake with easy going in and out to find the best mast position on my Fanatic 5.8. After a lot of experimentation: with the amount of pressure on the front foot that prefer I need them as much as forward as I can with the 2th row of holes. With that the 950 works pretty awesome. cuts through the water like there is nothing under your board and 100% quiet.
2the day we had rare side-off slow waves with enough wind for an 5m. horrible for wave sailing because too slow waves, not steep enough and just not enough wind but a wingers dream.
After a bit getting used to I got literally minutes long rides with decent long board style carves. If I try to turn a lot tighter the stab seems to lose grip so there is an min radius I can make with this combo, besides that F3ckig awesome

Thinking out loud: the losing grip might als have to do with where I put my mast so have to try more diff positions with that before i can call that an final conclusion
The 1100 I took the first time to the lake, again mast forward and it absolutely didn't work at all for me. Needed to stand way to far to the back and still then more pressure on my back as front foot.
Did I bought the wrong wing? I was thinking so till I started trying shims. With an 3gr a completely different animal and it felt as good as the 950 in front foot pressure. After lots of trying, I think the 2degree shim offers the magic mix for me.Compared to the 950 it is just quicker going on a lower speed. It has an really low stall speed. You let go a bit on tight turns and top speed but for just riding the small wind bumps on the sea it is for my conditions fast enough and pretty awesome with the 6m.
New board:

I liked the Fanatic5.8 but that there was no space to play with the mast position bothered me.So when new boards arrived at the shop I sold my Fanatic and Bought an AK 5.8. Same length but 90l, rails more forward, less wide nose smaller tail, 2.5kg lighter! and overall a noticeable step down in size.
I,m still fiddling a bit with the right mast position and balance on the board but so far it feels really good and surfs and pumps on the the small bumps we got so far even better, more lively as the fanatic.
I live in the Netherlands/Europe and Covid19 and travel regulations are still a big thing here making holiday options a bit limited.
The first plan was 2 weeks mtb in the Alps but that was when booking quite an hassle.
Now we go a few weeks to the north of Portugal to ,Viana do Castello, an place known for plenty of wind with an combo of flat water, some waves and swell to do down-winders on.
An great excuse to order an 3m starboard-Airrush and an front799 Balz Pro with 399 stab as well for when the 950 become a bit handfull.
