I'm switching from Armstrong to Axis. I'm 70 kg and looking at art 899 for medium + wind up to 30 knots and hps 880 for 10 knots + is this doable and what are the wind ranges of these foils???
I think you could make that work . I'm 68kg and have a 1099 880 and 899 (wife's 880 )
There's quite a lot of overlap with 899 and 880 so you could go 930 / 899 or 880 / 799 for the conditions you describe .. I tend to use my 899 95% of the time from 4.5m to 2m weather .. waves, flat water or prone .. 350p tail and ultrashort fuse ..
the 880 definitely gets going in slightly less wind and will pump out of holes / stalls better than 899
either would do me as a 1 foil does all ..
re the initial post .. 350p or 375p
