Having moved from the Ozone Flux (round, small handles) to the Armie XPS (chunky, flat, wider handles), the forearm fatigue increased significantly.
I like the wing quite a lot, but I am really not a fan of large flat handles the XPS uses, as it is typically associated with forearm fatigue.
Does anybody know a good set of exercises to strengthen the forearm muscles?

Been using the wings since they came out. Had some of that initially but that disappeared after a couple weeks. I do use a harness and strengthen with a theraband flexbar for some elbow tendinitis along with wrist curls with weights, but don't notice any issues these days. Just back from 3 week trip winging every day. Love the tight canopy and hard handles, great wings

i really like the handles. I got way more probs forearm wise on my ppc handles. But it is a damn rigid canopy so a harness line would help. I am looking to add a line and hook soon myself.

Btw anyone using 2 harness hooks on a waist belt? One for heel side and one for toe side?

I have the opposite feeling but my hand size is XL.

I have a 5m Ozone Flux and a 4m Armie XPS and I much prefer the XPS handles. I tend to ride the flux with a harness because the small diameter handles causes pressure points on my hands doing longer powered runs. Also when tacking overpowered it's harder to manipulate the wing through the eye of wind unless you grip hard on the small front handle

The XPS handles have a slight flex which reduces the strain in gusts. I also find moving the front hand forward in over powered conditions dramatically changes the load on your arms. The square handle profile is a dream tacking and gybing .

I still love the Flux in light wind with my DW board for its speed and upwind performance but I might get the 4.6 XPS next as my size gap in not optimal, the Armie wings are so good wave riding the flagging handle balance riding is the best I've tried.

Interesting to see you say that. I've been using an XPS quiver since August last year and recall also feeling more forearm fatigue than with my previous wings. However, it disappeared after a couple of sessions. No extra exercises were necessary, I think it was simply adjusting to somethign new.

Also, I use a harness every single session. I'm sure that makes a massive difference too.

I find my XPS handles antiquated vs my Duotone units which have the longer front handle, Next quiver investment will not be with the XPS for this reason

This is a bit of a bummer to hear, as I was planning on getting a quiver of XPS's this year, and I have smaller hands and a history of forearm and wrist issues...hmmm...

I've only used the Takoon wings I started with, which have the flattish/squarish soft handles...perhaps YET ANOTHER thread on wing handles, now that the new Slicks are out...

I migrated from Takoon V2 wings to Armstrong XPS wings and found the harder handles in the XPS so much better to ride with. Have had a few rides back with the Takoon wings and I found the soft handles to be awful after getting used the harder XPS handles. I'd say it is pretty unlikely for me to choose a wing with soft(er) handles again.

I do always ride with a harness which helps to give your arms a rest when going upwind hooked in.
