Hi!

Anchorman leash size 16" or 20" chute? Using 2,9/4,2/6,0 wings. What is your experience, do you find the 16" to give enough hold even for the bigger wings?

Will use the leash for inland waters where there will be room for it to drift but also at the coast where the space is limited.

I only use the 16" chute (didn't even know there was a 20"). What I find is that big wings are no problem, because Im typically only using them when the wind is lighter. The only times I've had issues are in higher wind conditions when I'm quite powered. I think its more a matter of (i) how powered you are for the given wind conditions, (ii) gustiness, and (iii) how carefully you drop the anchor. If you are appropriately powered, its not super gusty, and you are deliberate in dropping the anchor, it shouldn't be an issue. Thats my experience at least.

I used the 16" for a long time and just sold mine and replaced it with the 20"

I never had any issues with the 16" on any sized wing. What I did occasionally have issues with was the leash length being longer than the small wings chords. This occasionally allows the small wings trailing edge to grab, forcing the wing to stand up on its tail, and pull the 16" chute out of the water. The wing usually tumbles a few cycles down the river and then catches itself. Fortunately, this usually just means it's returning itself to me haha. A shorter leash seems to stop this from happening.
I bought the 20" just to try the new new but expect it to be unnecessary most days.
