An unusual question. Seen someone on the wingfoil out Airlie Beach today. Bloke was about 500m from the beach. He went into the drink. I'm yelling to the misus 'he just fell into the water why isn't he dying from stingers?'

Does anyone have an answer for that? How do you wing foil up here, fall in, and survive? Also, if you're doing it at Airlie, does anyone island hop?

You can wear a stinger suit, or whatever clothing that covers all of your body (even pantyhose) and be safe.
Otherwise, you can be lucky or unlucky, like a lottery of sorts.
