My quiver is 1050HPS for light wind, 830HPS for high wind and 890BSC for moderate wind and bigger swell/waves.

I like all my wings but I'm thinking the 890BSC feels a little slow at times and wondering if I should delve into the ART line, if so which size would work?

I'm hitting my jibes and riding toe side pretty consistently. I'm happy with my set up but am really curious about the ART line. I'm 95Kgs, have a 90ltr Starboard takeoff. If I were to replace the 890BSC, what would be a good size ART to play around with?

Or should I just be happy and stop shopping for new equipment like a junkie?

Im same weight and use the 930 and just ordered a 1050 to potentially replace my 1150.

What wind strengths ( knots) and conditions do you use the 1050 and 830 and 890?

And also keen to understand where ART can fit in..for the heavier rider I don't think the 1099 will give enough lift? So then you have something like the 1150 or 1050 as light wind option. But then I'd guess 1099 is too close to the 1050..hence 999 as a partner?



So I'm thinking 1050/930...
or 1050 / 1099 or 999 (my concern is 1099 seems very wide for a high wind foil?)
Or 1050 / 1099 / 899

The 1050hps I use low to mid teens, 890bsc mid to upper teens, 830 needs to be over 20. I'm thinking the 999 may be good to swap out the 890bsc.

Bro what you need is a 700, 880 or 930, 980 and 1050 to go with a 899, 999 and 1099.
In allsetiosness, it did have a fill quiver of HPS amd ART and it was great. HPS for surf, ART for winging.

I'm 75kg very happy with art 999 and 799 with short fuse and 350p and 300p. 999 from 8 to 20knots, 799 12 to 30knots. Suspect I would be fine with just the 899.

At 92kg the 1099 and 899 would be great. Rear wings make a huge difference. 350p is easy to use, 300p fast and turns well harder to switch feet on foil.

Depends on weight and local winds and conditions? I am not convinced (yet) the 1099 could be a light wind foil for a 90-100kg rider on a board with similar volume...i think you will need 15 kts? So if its 12kts and up and down...will the 1099 work or will you get frustrated? All feedback ive heard is the latter. Hence its a bit uncertain where for heavier riders the ART fits in...as if you need something like a 1050/1150png, which ART do you drop to...perhaps 999 (i would love a 1099 but as said, i cant see where it will fit). For lighter riders then maybe 1099/899 is perfect?

The ART series are unbeatable for their purpose which is glide and speed but at a cost. You may be getting a bit more 'water time' (from crashing) compared to your average HPS series wing. They're racing tools particularly well suited to SUP foiling and downwinding. Definitely try to demo first, you may just love them.

For me at 68kg.. 1099 and 899 is my perfect fit .. 1099 does small surf, dock and smaller / lighter downwinders .. 899 does 90% of winging, surf over chest high and strong wind downwinders ...

local heavy guys (85-90kg) using 1300 / 1150 when I'm on 1099, 1099 when I'm on 899 and 899 when they run out of hand wings to change down to / I wish I could afford a 799 ??

I'd recommend replacing 890 bsc with 930 HPS .. else if you are gonna take the ART plunge .. 1310 PNG, 1099, 899 ...
