Has anyone cut the wing tips off the 625 for big wave tow in and what effect did it have ? And what tail did you use. Previously I have been using the 93 mast/625/195/70 fuse. Maybe I should just buy the HA525. I'm def not riding Hawaiian size but we do get some good size waves in Cornwall Ireland etc.

Yes cut them off makes the foil much more reactive, have been using a cut 625 fir few years now for kiting.
Just bought a new set up and again with a cut 625.
Also got a 525 but don't like it at all.
Using a 1 meter mast 50 fuse and 195 tail with it.

I guess it has less of a locked in feel?
