I was gonna post last night and say don't believe the hype as our friends at BOM always overestimate the first front and it won't happen.
Loks like it is on! Graphs have 20-25 at few places and Rotto 25-33

They're a sugar coated chocolate sweet, like the old smarties, remember those? Or he could be talking about the Manbra Blobs?

Got out at the crack of dawn. Plenty of wind and some decent waves coming through.

Pretty onshore, but still the best way to start the day!!!

feeling goooooooooooood!

Just got back from Dutchies and I must admit I really enjoyed it -- until it got just that little bit choppier than normal.

Had plenty of power with a 4.7 and 88 litre but there was everything from 5.5's down.

A bit of fun for 2 hours with lumps and bumps and the odd reasonable ( for here ) wave.

Can't ask for much more this time of year in Perth and only 5 minutes from home....

I'm pissed off for NOT going. The Perth graphs drpped, it started to drizzle here and dropped off about 2pm when I could have left work early and gone. I decided not to.
Now it is 20-25, blue sky and 3/4mast hi. But can't go because the wifey works 5-6pm. Should have gone just in case, back at 2pm when I could go

It can be such a fun spot when it happens!

Just a pity it's a rare thing.

Got out later in the arvo, too, that day. Gotta love the double sesh!

(even managed to squeeze a full day of work in the middle, somehow)
